Having a professional design is the most important thing you can do for you yard.

We would be happy to help you in one of 3 ways with your project.

1. We offer free estimates on plans you have have done yourself or those someone else has prepared for you. You may simply fax or email in your plan and we will give you a competitive bid, or we would be happy to meet you at your home to review your plans with you.

2. If you are a "Do It Yourselfer" and just need some help, we offer on site consultation at $65.00 per hour.

3. We offer both professional concept plans and full construction plans at very competitive prices. We also offer either plan in a "Budget Directed Plan" see below. Our plans fees apply towards your purchase price if we do the work for you.

Top 10 mistakes homeowners make when doing their backyard.

10. Wrong valve and irrigation layout for their type of plants and trees. So often we see plants and trees on the same valve. PVC vacuum breakers and lines exposed to the sun is another problem.

9. Plant selection not matching homeowner's time availability to maintain.

8. Drainage problems. Lot grading not completed by builder or problems created by installation.

7. Homeowners extending their existing concrete patio with real Flagstone, Tile or Brick.

6. Island cement pads from patio to pool. Recommended by most pool companies but for most a huge mistake, costing thousands to fix properly.

4. Designing their yard themselves without the proper training and experience. Most of the time a homeowner designed yard is not satisfactory for them over time. Realize that it takes many years of practical field experience, construction, and consultation for any designer or landscape architect to really become good. Experience can make a huge difference in how well you enjoy your yard.

3. Having a pool company design their pool.-Most quality pool companies do a nice job of designing and building a pool. The problem is they are only pool builders, not Whole Yard Planers and Designers.  Did you know that before your pool is designed that the type and specific location of child barrier (pool fence, door locks, etc.), patio furniture, entertaining style, BBQ's, and fireplaces, and over 75 other design considerations should be considered first. Have your pool built by the pool builder of your choice if you wish, but have it designed and laid out by a professional experienced designer. 

2. Building a backyard from a poor design by either an incompetent designer, inexperienced designer, or the "Free Design" done by a salesman that calls himself a designer, or the company that requires their salesman to do a free design for their prospective customers. The quality of the design makes all the difference in customer satisfaction. The design must match the customers likes, dislikes, entertaining styles, furniture, budget, home resale, and over 100 other design items if the customer is truly going to be happy with the result.

1. No design all! Just winging it. When they get an idea, have a little money or available credit, they add to their yard. We call this approach Hodgepodging. Eventually they realize they have spent a lot of money and are not happy with the results.

We offer 2 different types of designs. In both types of plans we take into account over 100 factors in our designs. From the time you order until you receive your plan averages 3 to 6 weeks.

    1) Unrestricted Full plan. We are always cost conscience but in this type of plan construction cost does not restrict the design.

    2) Budget Directed Plan. We visualize the ideas and items for your yard and we put them all on a spreadsheet first before we ever start drawing. In addition to the over 100 design factors that go into every one of our designs, we take into account the budget you have set for your project to ensure our drawing meets your needs exactly. With our Budget Directed Plan, we save you time and the frustration of sending your plan to various contractors only to wait on the lowest bidder that may very well exceed your budget.
